Position:
Dev Ops Engineer at GDIT

• Docker Swarm, Git Lab CI/CD, Virtual Machines (VM), Web Application Deployment
• Experience:
  
  15+ years of related experience
• Security clearance:
  Top Secret SCI + Polygraph (current or obtainable)
• US citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline
• Technical skills: strong Dev Ops background for deploying applications, installing and configuring complex software, managing network servers and technology tools, monitoring and maintaining system performance, troubleshooting issues and outages
• Experience with Linux, AWS, MASH, VMs, Docker Swarm, deployments of distributed web applications (e.g., Git Lab CI/CD), Terraform scripting and VM provisioning, Ansible scripting and development, Docker & Docker Compose container technology, Git

• Python scripting and development
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
• Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
• Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)
• HAProxy
• MongoDB

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call‑in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 4‑6 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.

• Salary range: $164,382 - $212,750 (based on experience, location, etc.)
