MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs an Installation Technician supporting CIS, you will play a key role in modernizing and sustaining enterprise infrastructure across diverse environments. You will install, configure, relocate, and decommission IT equipment while ensuring accuracy, quality, and minimal impact to mission essential users. Your work directly supports technology refresh efforts, ensures infrastructure readiness, and enables secure, reliable, and seamless IT services across a globally distributed enterprise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Install, replace, relocate, and configure IT hardware, including workstations, monitors, printers, servers, peripherals, and related components, across enterprise sites.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and equipment readiness checks; maintain detailed installation schedules and documentation
- Develop and maintain installation artifacts such as issue logs, action reports, equipment inventories, and site readiness forms
- Perform troubleshooting and basic break/fix activities for installed hardware, escalating complex issues as needed
- Support equipment lifecycle activities including asset tracking, hardware replacement, declassification, and compliance with disposal and sanitization requirements
- Coordinate with site leads, project managers, and technical teams to resolve installation issues and ensure accuracy and completeness of deployment
- Ensure all work adheres to installation procedures, security requirements, labeling standards, and approved hardware configurations
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 10+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree
- CERTIFICATION: Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g., Security+, etc.)
- CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
- Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting IT hardware in enterprise or multisite environments
- Ability to read and follow installation plans, technical documentation, and configuration guidelines
- Strong understanding of hardware setup, cabling standards, equipment handling, and basic network connectivity concepts
- Ability to track assets, update documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer service skills
- Ability to support travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites as required by installation projects

Salary Range: $128,039 - $173,229 (subject to experience, location, contractual requirements)
