Data Scientist - PRIME, Hybrid - CI poly

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead to support mission-critical cyber and network operations within the Department of War and Intelligence Community. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines that transform complex, high-volume data into actionable intelligence supporting national security efforts.

Qualified Senior Data Engineer should have the below skills:

• -9+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related technical fields and a Bachelors in a related field
• -Strong experience designing and building ETL pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
• -Hands-on experience with Kafka, NiFi, and AWS (S3, SQS)
• -Proficiency in Java with experience in unit and integration testing
• -Secret clearance and a DoD 8570 IAT II certification (or higher)

This work supports a hybrid work model with 1-2 days onsite (Columbia, MD) a week, the remainder will be remote. Candidates must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI + CI poly level government clearance. Salary for this role is between $133,000 - $238,000, depending on experience, clearance level, location, and contract requirements.
