Delivery Driver

Overview

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle. You will help ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met while maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical conduct.

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long term care facilities or patients' homes on a predetermined route and schedule.
• Load products/materials for delivery.
• Maintain and report vehicle maintenance needs to management.
• Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations; uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality; maintain professional and ethical standards.
• Support pharmacy operations by managing assigned workstations and tasks to help fill prescriptions promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset in daily duties and interactions with patients, facilities and colleagues.

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Current, valid driver's license in the state required for the vehicle operation; ability to drive for long periods of time.
• Geographical knowledge of the service area.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in the long-term care industry is a plus.
