- B.Sc. in computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
- Familiarity with genomic data and common methods of NGS data analysis
- Experience working with R and unix
- Full professional proficiency in English
- A strong and customer-success oriented work ethic
- B.S Bioinformatics or life science with 1-2 years of industry experience
- M.Sc. in a relevant field such as statistics, life science, or computational biology
- Experience working with tidyverse, ggplot2, Python, Git, and high-performance computing environments and AWS or other cloud environments
- Exposure to the analysis of large-scale microbiome data and the use of relevant open-source tools and/or statistical models
- Familiarity with the use of open-source bioinformatics software, including applications employing ontologies, pathways, networks, and/or phylogenetics at both the individual gene and genomic scales
- The ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team environment
