• Generate retail sales by leveraging passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs through connection and probing questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide complete top‑down sales solutions.
• Close sales using strong communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by making outbound calls and sending text messages to interested Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. In addition, you can earn up to $18,000 annually in individual commissions by meeting sales goals. Top performers may add $14,500 or more in commissions, potentially reaching $65,000 to $75,500 annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. For the Maryland location(s), the starting base pay is $19.71 per hour.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with schedules provided four weeks in advance.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts for increased income, typically during summer months, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
