POS & Merchant Services Sales Representative

Location: Maryland | Washington, DC | Northern Virginia (DMV Area)

We are seeking a high-energy, field-based B2B Sales Representative to acquire new merchant accounts and help local businesses adopt payment processing, POS systems, and technology solutions.

This is a hunter role for someone who enjoys prospecting, meeting business owners, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate has experience in merchant services, POS sales, banking, telecom, or consultative B2B sales with a proven ability to generate new business.

• Prospect and acquire new merchants through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
• Meet with business owners across restaurants, retail, healthcare, auto services, and other SMB industries
• Identify payment processing needs and recommend POS/payment solutions
• Manage sales pipeline, CRM activity, and close new merchant accounts
• Build strong relationships with local business owners and decision‑makers

• Experience in B2B sales, merchant services, POS, or payment processing
• Strong cold prospecting and closing skills
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working in a field sales environment
• Ability to consistently build pipeline and achieve sales targets

• 15–20 merchant meetings per week during ramp‑up
• 20–25 merchant meetings per week ongoing
• Target: 5–10 new funded merchant accounts per month
