Therapeutic Specialist - Pittsburgh

Position Summary

The Therapeutic Sales Specialist (TS) – Baltimore / Pittsburgh is responsible for maximizing product sales by communicating the value proposition of the Endocrinology portfolio to relevant stakeholders. Targets endocrinologists, general practitioners, and other healthcare providers to drive business growth.

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan; target and penetrate a wide territory; build relationships with key decision makers.
• Call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties.
• Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations.
• Manage hybrid engagement (in-person 70%+) and virtual interactions to maximize efficiency.
• Use data sources to identify opportunities with greatest ROI.
• Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
• Manage and track territory information via CRM.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical/medical device/healthcare industry sales experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage key accounts.
• Demonstrated sales growth; documented track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
• Business acumen; ability to understand and articulate complex clinical information.
• Excellent organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
• Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.

• Endocrinology experience; hospital sales experience; knowledge of local/regional health systems.

• Travel up to 50%.
