We are hiring experienced Security Service Technicians to support the service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic security systems across multiple healthcare facilities throughout the Washington, DC and Maryland region.
This role is responsible for supporting critical security technologies in active healthcare environments where system reliability, responsiveness, and customer service are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience working with security technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with facility personnel, security teams, and internal leadership.
Available Assignments- Dedicated full-time assignment supporting a major healthcare facility.
- Multi-site support role covering several healthcare locations throughout the region.
- Perform break-fix service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic security systems.
- Support access control, video management, CCTV, and specialized security technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues in active operational environments.
- Respond to service requests and urgent system issues, including occasional after-hours support.
- Work directly with facility stakeholders, security personnel, and internal project teams.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, issue tracking, and resolution records.
- Travel between assigned facilities as required.
- Escalate technical issues and customer concerns when appropriate.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience while working in mission-critical environments.
- Experience installing, servicing, or maintaining electronic security systems in healthcare, commercial, government, higher education, or other complex facilities.
- Strong understanding of access control systems, video management platforms, and CCTV technologies.
- Experience troubleshooting systems in live customer environments.
- Genetec certification and hands-on experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of network-connected security devices and system integrations.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between regional sites.
