Salesforce Developer

• Perform application development, prototyping, testing, and capability demonstrations to users

• Perform code merges, resolve conflicts, and deploy repositories to sandboxes and test environments

• Assist with deployments to higher environments and production

• Build custom applications using Salesforce declarative customization capabilities, including flows and App Builder

• Design solution recommendations and modernization roadmaps using Salesforce Platform capabilities and customized solutions

• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and customers to architect Salesforce solutions

• Design and develop business functionality using Salesforce CRM/CX technologies

• Perform fit-gap analysis across Salesforce clouds, App Exchange tools, and Salesforce Platform capabilities

• Document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions throughout their life cycles

• Address Salesforce platform security and compliance requirements, including Section 508 and FISMA

• Design and develop APIs and integrations between Salesforce and external systems

• Ensure business requirements are met through proper testing and monitoring of performance and security requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ of experience or Master’s Degree and 3 years’ of experience
• At least 3 years’ direct experience in Agile software development lifecycle
• At least 2 years of experience in development of enterprise-level Salesforce projects throughout implementation life cycles with demonstrable success
• Fluent in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories, including conflict resolution
• Experienced in deploying repositories to sandboxes and test environments
• Experience writing Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL
• Proficiency in Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Platform IDE, and integrations of third-party tools with Salesforce
• Experience designing, building, and implementing custom applications using declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform
• Active Secret or higher clearance; interim clearance acceptable
• Certified  Platform Advanced Developer (DEV 501) preferred
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience developing/deploying applications written in open languages on Heroku and integrating with Salesforce Platform preferred
