DescriptionAs a Senior Product Manager
, you will own Tithely’s financial stewardship product areas as we expand beyond giving into a broader financial platform for the Church. This role combines deep financial services expertise, 0-to-1 product leadership, and strong build-vs-buy judgment as you evaluate opportunities to introduce and integrate new financial services into Tithely’s existing offerings.
The ideal candidate has taken a financial product or capability from concept to launch and brings hands‑on experience with the financial services landscape. Ultimately, you’ll help build products that give churches greater financial stability and the resources they need to serve their communities and advance the mission of the Church.
Primary Responsibilities of the Role- Build a strong understanding of the financial services landscape relevant to churches, including areas such as Accounting, Payroll, Spend management, and other financial products and services.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to solve meaningful financial problems for churches, using customer insights, market research, and business data.
- Lead product discovery and problem definition, developing clear problem statements, opportunity sizing, and build-vs-buy or partnership recommendations.
- Translate approved opportunities into a clear product strategy, prioritized roadmap, and well‑scoped Jira Epics.
- Lead products and significant product capabilities from 0-to-1, taking them from concept and discovery through development, launch, and iteration.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for new products and initiatives, using data and customer feedback to measure performance and inform decisions.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Sales, CX, Finance, Legal, and other cross‑functional teams to align priorities, navigate constraints, and bring new financial products and services to market.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Stay current on developments in financial services, technology, and the needs of churches to identify new opportunities and continuously improve Tithely's financial stewardship offerings.
During their first year, the Senior Product Manager will be expected to:
- Develop a strong understanding of Tithely's customers, existing product suite, and the financial services landscape relevant to churches.
- Identify and evaluate meaningful opportunities within financial stewardship and establish a clear recommendation for where Tithely should build, buy, or partner.
- Develop a prioritized product strategy and roadmap for the selected opportunity, with clearly defined problems, success metrics, and business outcomes.
- Lead the development and launch of at least one new financial product, integration, or significant product capability, from discovery through initial customer adoption.
- Establish baseline KPIs and demonstrate measurable progress in customer adoption, engagement, revenue, or other agreed‑upon business outcomes.
- Build the cross‑functional relationships and product foundation needed to continue expanding Tithely's financial stewardship offerings.
- Manage Complexity by acquiring data from multiple and diverse sources, uncovering root causes to difficult problems, making sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
