Practice Administrator

Overview

Job Summary

Responsible for directing and administering practice management functions in the Baptist Medical Group Clinic network. This role will oversee the general administrative and financial functions of the practice assigned. This role will report to the Executive Director of Clinic Operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordination, management and development of clinics, outpatient procedure departments if applicable, and physician hospital services in the following areas:
  Right Time,
• Right Place, Right Cost, Right Care.
• Integrates organization strategic growth plans with operations to expand patient care access,
• improve efficiency and maximize clinic service offerings.
• Collaborates with Service Line Directors to ensure the patient experience is seamless from clinic
• visit to procedure/surgeries at the Medical Center.
• Ensures appropriate systems and staffing resources are deployed for clinic and revenue cycle policy
• and procedure compliance. Utilize measurement and analytical systems to maximize operational efficiency and visual management.
• Functions as a resource to physicians, clinic managers, and supervisors in the deployment of business and strategic initiatives.
• Escalates to Executive Director of Clinic Operations any unresolved issues/opportunities concerning patients, staff and physicians. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience

Minimum Required

• 1 year healthcare experience. Preference is in management or project leadership

Education

Minimum Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a Healthcare related Field.

Preferred/Desired

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a Healthcare related Field.
