American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma experience and a TN or compact RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level I Trauma Center
• Short term acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis
• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius

• Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines required
• No pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent ER experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• ADN accepted for this position
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall during the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 holidays if only two occur during the assignment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates with at least 3+ years of recent experience may be considered as an exception to the first-time traveler restriction
• Local candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Former travelers who completed a full year assignment must wait 1 full year before returning
• Weekend block scheduling may be considered and can be discussed during the interview
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as RTO submitted after an offer will not be honored
