Small Engine Mechanic- Full-Time

Job Title

Performed small engine tune-ups and repairs on a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, and other small engines. Diagnosed mechanical issues, replaced worn or damaged parts, changed oil and spark plugs, cleaned carburetors, and ensured equipment operated safely and efficiently. Maintained tools and work areas, followed safety procedures, and provided basic maintenance recommendations to customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to show consumers how to properly use a wide variety of Outdoor Power Equipment, be mechanically inclined and have experience in small engine repair and equipment maintenance.

• Performed small engine tune-ups and repairs on lawn mowers, weed eaters, and other small engine equipment
• Diagnosed mechanical issues and troubleshot engine problems
• Replaced worn or damaged parts, including spark plugs and filters
• Changed oil and cleaned carburetors to maintain proper engine performance
• Followed safety procedures and maintained a clean, organized work area
• Ensured equipment operated safely and efficiently after repairs
• Experience ordering and looking up parts
• Inventory management

• Must have no mobility issues and be able to lift heavy objects including chainsaws and generators
• Computer literacy

This job is an hourly position (non-exempt from overtime).
