Interim Financial Close & Reporting Position
Own and execute the full monthly close process, including preparation and posting of accruals and provisions. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reporting. Prepare and submit the monthly management report to Rosti Group HQ in Sweden, including variance analysis and written commentary. Compile the monthly site report covering financial performance, KPIs, and operational highlights with supporting analysis.
Maintain and enforce internal controls and accounting policies in compliance with Group standards.
Lead and coordinate the annual budget process for the Germantown site, with primary activity in September and October. Work closely with the Site General Manager and department heads to develop bottom-up budget submissions. Prepare budget packages and presentations for submission to Group HQ. Support rolling forecast processes and update financial projections as required.
Serve as the primary Finance business partner to the Site General Manager and the site management team. Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making. Identify cost trends, risks, and opportunities, and proactively communicate findings to leadership. Support capital expenditure analysis, investment requests, and cost reduction initiatives.
Directly manage and support a team of 2 (1 Full-Time Accountant and 1 Part-Time Accountant). Ensure continuity of day-to-day Finance operations across the team during the interim period. Provide on-the-job coaching and clear direction to direct reports.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred but not required. Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting. Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred. Prior experience as a Plant Controller, Finance Manager, or equivalent site-level Finance lead. Proven track record managing a monthly close process and delivering management reporting packages.
Experience reporting to a European parent company or working within a multinational corporate structure is advantageous. Budget ownership experience — having led or co-led an annual budgeting cycle.
This is a Contract position based out of Germantown, WI. The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
