QPS Employment Group is hiring a Tool Room Technician for a company in Germantown, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity in Germantown, WI.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up and removal of molds in production equipment in order to perform necessary maintenance and PM activities
• Program and operate all tool room equipment
• Make alterations to existing molds, fixtures, and tooling in support of design changes
• Maintain a safe working environment in the tool room for others conducting work in the tool room
• Group leader responsibilities as assigned
• Mold and die disassembly and reassembly to support changeovers or repairs
• Coordinate and track Mold tool repairs through CMMS (eMaint)
• Participate in RCFA on damaged tools from production
• Continuous improvement: train and mentor, surface problems, utilize PDCA to solve problems and drive improvements, 5S

Requirements:

• Journeyman Tool and Die maker; or 7+ years of experience in a tool and die or mold shop
• Knowledge and use of CNC controls
• 2-4 years of experience in machining operations/building fixtures
• Basic computer skills
• Experience/exposure to injection molds is a plus
