QPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Germantown, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and documentation
• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards

Material Handler Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills preferred
