Chemical Manufacturing Technician Assistant
Join our team as a Chemical Manufacturing Technician Assistant and work alongside the Chemical Manufacturing Technician. Your role will involve assisting with the preparation and cleaning of reactors, ensuring batch completion by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). You will perform real-time documentation, weight checks, component counting, and preparation of materials.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and cleaning of reactors.
- Follow applicable SOPs and cGMPs to ensure batch completion.
- Perform real-time documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct weight checks and component counting.
- Remove, consolidate, inspect, and prepare materials for use.
- Basic math skills for calculations.
- Experience in chemical handling and operating.
- Familiarity with blending and titration processes.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and API production.
- Understanding of GDP, method validation, and analytical chemistry.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-2 years of experience in chemical operating or handling.
Work in an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Manufacturing facility that is highly regulated and requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Regular PPE includes gloves and a full-face respirator, with occasional use of a Tyvek suit for wet conditions. The usual attire is a uniform, and no hazardous chemicals are used in this position. The primary cleaning agent is citric acid.
The role requires flexibility in start times, with shifts beginning between 6-9 am, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Overtime opportunities are available as needed.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Germantown, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
