Mig Fitter Welders

We are seeking Mig Fitter Welders in Germantown, WI. Wage: $25.00-$31.00/hour.

Shift: 1st.

Hours:

6:00am-2:00pm.

Mig Fitter Welders Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
  • Fit and assemble metal components prior to welding
  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required
  • Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, drill presses, and other shop tools
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding and fabrication equipment
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout the shop
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
Mig Fitter Welders Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 5+ years of MIG welding and fitting experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  • Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and levels
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Welding certification preferred but not required
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift for extended periods
  • Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands
