Part-Time Pastoral Care Coordinator
Gettysburg College invites applications for a part-time Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our Center for Religious and Spiritual Life. This is a meaningful opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to support the spiritual, emotional, and personal well-being of our diverse campus community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing pastoral care for students on personal, emotional, religious, educational, and social matters
- Collaborating with the Interfaith Coordinator and fellow Interfaith Advisors to develop meaningful programming and initiatives around spiritual and faith topics
- Serving as a liaison connecting the campus community to religious and spiritual resources in the greater Gettysburg area
This is a non-benefited position.
Qualifications - A Master's degree or equivalent in divinity, religious studies, social work, counseling, higher education, or a related field is required. Ordination or recognized standing in a religious organization that supports confidentiality and statutory privilege is also essential. The Pastoral Care Coordinator will be expected to work approximately 6-10 hours per week for 30 weeks per year (two, 15-week semesters).
The hourly rate for the position is negotiable.
