City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide academic and social-emotional support to students in partnering public schools
• Deliver tutoring and small-group instruction to help improve student performance
• Support teachers with classroom activities and positive learning environments
• Build relationships with students, families, and school staff to foster engagement
• Track, document, and report student progress and intervention activities
• Participate in training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team to achieve school wide goals
• Engage in after-school or school-based events and service projects as needed
