Ideal candidates will bring:
- Pennsylvania state certification and credentials in school psychology
- Experience with middle and high school populations
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proven track record with diverse student needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
Your core responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psycho educational evaluations for referred students
- Participating in IEP and eligibility meetings, delivering informed recommendations
- Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and parents to develop and monitor intervention strategies
- Facilitating small-group or individual counseling for students as needed
- Maintaining timely and detailed documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Supporting the creation of a safe, inclusive, and supportive school atmosphere
