Requirements:
- EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience required. Training will be provided. - LANGUAGE
SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of this organization. - MATHEMATICAL
SKILLS:
None. - REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Consistently keeps the food service section well stocked with product.
- Assists in making, wrapping and pricing pizzas and strombolis
- Assists in making, packaging and pricing sandwiches, subs, etc.
- Assists with making store made salads.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the sales area.
- Wraps lunch meats and cheeses at closing and put them in cooler.
- Tears down chip section at closing.
- Cooperates with fellow department employees and other departments during inter-departmental or store wide promotions.
- Responsible for obeying all safety standards.
- Performs other appropriate duties as directed by the Deli Manager, Assistant Deli Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.
- Responsible for upholding department quality and safety standards in the absence of the department manager or assistant manager.
