Product Fulfillment Specialist

Pay: $15 / hour

Reports To: Property Manager
About the Role
We have recently expanded operations at our large bed & breakfast property to include a dedicated shipping and receiving center for our Amazon products. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Product Fulfillment Specialist to manage the daily operations of this new shipping center. In this role, you will be the backbone of our e-commerce logistics, ensuring that all incoming inventory is processed correctly and that outgoing customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare daily Amazon and e-commerce orders for shipment with a high degree of accuracy and care.
- Shipping & Receiving: Receive incoming product shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock products within the shipping center. Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Labeling & Dispatch: Print packing slips and shipping labels, ensuring all packages comply with carrier and Amazon fulfillment standards.
- Carrier Coordination: Coordinate with shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, Amazon Logistics) for daily package pickups and track delayed or lost shipments.
- Returns Processing: Receive and inspect returned items, updating the inventory system and processing customer returns according to company policy.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized shipping and receiving area. Monitor and request restocking of shipping supplies (boxes, tape, labels, bubble wrap).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving, or e-commerce fulfillment (Amazon FBA / FBM experience is a major plus).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory management software, shipping platforms, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working in a shipping center environment that may experience fluctuations in temperature.
