Role:
Provides comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care setting, focusing on developing and implementing individualized care plans, delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents and their families.
Responsibilities:Reviews physician prescriptions, communicates care plans, coordinates with healthcare team, educates residents and families on health conditions and self-care, evaluates and modifies care based on changing needs, maintains safety and infection control standards, manages care equipment and supplies, and oversees admissions, discharges, and transfers. Also, supervises nursing staff workflow and maintains professional competence.
Qualifications:Active RN license in the state of practice; preferred 1-3 years clinical or long-term care experience.
