Role Overview

This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents by developing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. The nurse reviews physician prescriptions, communicates with the healthcare team, and coordinates resident care activities, including admissions, discharges, and transfers. They educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care skills, ensuring understanding and engagement. The role requires maintaining a safe environment by adhering to infection control, medication procedures, and safety regulations.

Additionally, the nurse manages care equipment, monitors supplies, and supervises workflow among nursing staff. Maintaining confidentiality and complying with legal and organizational standards are essential.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Ability to perform all essential job functions, including effective communication and visual acuity
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical or long-term care experience
