• Maintain plant equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures.
• Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown.
• Work on assigned projects.
• Fabricate and install new equipment.
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

High School/GED

Technician

• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools
• Forklift license

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
• Standing 8 to 10 hours daily
• Walking 8 to 10 hours daily
• Bending/Stooping 8 to 10 hours daily
• Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) 8 to 10 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Push/Pull 8 to 10 hours daily

• Ability to read precision gauges
• Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
