Job Title

Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat) – Giddings, TX

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications.
• Minimum one year of Class A professional driving experience within the last five years.
• Clean driving record: no more than two convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last three years, or a combination of one conviction and one at‑fault accident.
• Must be at least 21 years or older.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–125 pounds with aid of material handling equipment.
• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
