WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will oversee accounting staff while managing financial operations for a portfolio of properties. Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements, leading the month-end close process, maintaining fixed assets and accruals, and supporting accounts payable and receivable. You will also complete reconciliations, prepare state tax filings, and collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial initiatives. This role requires at least six years of property accounting experience—preferably in residential property management—with strong technical skills.

A bachelor’s degree is a plus, along with experience in Yardi and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

WHAT YOU

NEED TO HAVE :

We are seeking candidates with at least six years of property accounting experience, ideally within residential property management. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes, along with the ability to manage multiple properties and priorities. Experience with Yardi is highly preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel—is essential. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both accounting teams and property management staff are key to success in this role.
