- Serve as a primary point of contact for donors, community members, vendors, contractors, and visitors through in-person, phone, email, and digital communications.
- Provide professional customer service and support front desk operations as needed.
- Assist all District divisions with administrative projects and operational support.
- Coordinate donor stewardship initiatives and support development programs.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising, donor, and community events.
- Manage event registration, prepare name tags, track attendance, and update donor and participant records.
- Support marketing, sponsorship, and community outreach efforts.
- Conduct grant research and assist with grant proposals, LOIs, and application submissions.
- Maintain donor databases, including contact information, mailing lists, and donor records.
- Organize, maintain, and archive electronic and paper records in compliance with retention requirements.
- Enter, verify, and maintain accurate data and reports.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, donor acknowledgments, policies, and other professional documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and support office administrative functions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and a commitment to achieving organizational goals.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, professionally, and with attention to detail.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Experience: Four years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, management, or development experience preferred.
Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
Professional Licenses/Certifications: None
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of grant research, grant writing, and LOI development.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with staff, donors, partners, contractors, and the public.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting.
- Prolonged periods of time may be spent using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
- This position will require seeing, talking, walking, standing, bending, and carrying.
- This position will occasionally require lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
