Occupational Therapist
to join our team!
The Occupational Therapist will join ourwell established, experienced private practice team serving children from ages 3 to 18, inGig Harbor, WA .Caseload includes autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, motor coordination delays, and sensory processing differences.
Our preferred candidate is experienced with children with training in sensory processing, play-based therapy, feeding, and/or neuromuscular disorders. (S) he will have a strong passion for helping children with special needs, and their families reach their full potential.
- Perform evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate goals
- Maintain timely treatment records and progress reports
- Consistently assess progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Provide parent training and support as an integral part of the therapy program
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary and collaborative team
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Dedicated to quality, with a willingness to learn and share
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents,staff,and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Professional, positive,and cooperative attitude
- Must have or obtain an OT license in the State of Washington
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications and a valid Driver's License and/or reliable transportation
