Position: Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) â€" Private Duty/1:1 â€" Gig Harbor, WA
The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Gig Harbor, WA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time private duty/1:1 role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

* Active LPN License in WA

* Current BLS CPR/AED certification

* Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:

* Pediatric skillset

* Trach/vent management

* Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications

* Tube feedings

* Pediatric diabetic care

* Oxygen and airway management

* Medication administration

* Catheterization

* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

* Ability to work independently

* Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice

* School-based experience highly preferred

WHAT YOU'LL DO

* Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day

* Support chronic condition management and assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans

* Provide first aid and medication administration

* Document care and communicate with school teams

* Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned

* Report significant status changes to supervising RN and family
