School Nurse Job – 1:1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Full-Time)

We are actively hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for 1:1 school nurse positions in Gig Harbor, WA
. These are full-time, in-person healthcare roles supporting K–12 students with individualized medical needs throughout the academic year.

• Start Date: September 2
• End Date: June 4 (NSY – Next School Year)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 32.5 – 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: K–12 (assigned based on student needs)

• Provide 1:1 nursing care for students with specialized medical needs
• Support students with:
• Tracheostomy (Trach) and ventilator care
• Wheelchair and mobility assistance
• Diabetes monitoring and support
• Seizure management and emergency care
• G-tube (feeding tube) care
• Assist with toileting and hygiene needs (required when applicable)
• Accompany students during bus transportation if required
• Accurately document care and monitor student health
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure safety and support
• Follow all Washington State LPN standards and care guidelines

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License – Washington State (required)
• Experience in pediatric care, school nursing, or special needs care preferred
• Ability and willingness to provide hands‑on care, including toileting (required)
• Comfortable working independently (
  no supervision provided
  )
• Strong communication and patient care skills

• Full-time schedule (no nights, weekends, or holidays)
