Position Overview:The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for moving equipment throughout the warehouse, delivering it to its correct locations, loading and unloading trucks, and packing and unpacking individual items of equipment. This role also includes organizing equipment suchas computers, chargers, and other items, as well as cleaning the warehouse and products as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Move equipment throughout the warehouse and deliver it to its correct locations.
- Load and offload trucks with equipment and supplies.
- Pack and unpack individual items of equipment.
- Organize equipment, including computers, chargers, and other related items.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Clean products as necessary to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management by keeping accurate records of equipment movements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and warehouse operations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the warehouse manager promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.
