Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer with a strong background in both individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120, 1120S, 1065). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Gather and analyze financial data, including income, deductions, and credits
- Communicate with clients to request information and answer tax-related questions
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Identify tax savings opportunities and provide basic tax planning guidance
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
