JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK
CALENDAR: 1902FT OR 1802PT(9
MONTH) - ELEMENTARY OR JUNIOR HIGH, 2081H (9 MONTH) - HIGH SCHOOL
SALARY: GRADE 105 (SUPPORT HOURLY)
Job GoalPerform a variety of clerical services, following standardized procedures, in an assigned area.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in computer skills and applications as relates to this position
- Satisfactory criminal background check
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google, or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software
- Knowledge of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work
- Perform a wide variety of clerical work, including typing, filing, coding, and preparing reports
- Maintain a variety of records and files
- Input information into the computer
- Receive inquiries by telephone or in person and reply accordingly
- Assist as needed when other staff members are absent
- Maintain confidentiality of student and staff member information even after no longer employed or enrolled in CUSD schools
- Accept responsibility for student well being and safety while in the employee’s care
- Perform other duties assigned that support the overall objective of the position
