JOB TITLE: RECEPTIONIST SCHOOL
CALENDAR:2611H - FT - 12 MONTH)

Contribute to effective school public relations by prompt and courteous handling of all inquiries and visitors, and perform clerical duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate telephone equipment
- Ability to type accurately at an acceptable rate of speed
- Ability to work with students, parents, staff, and the general public
- Knowledge of and adherence to district policies and procedures affecting assigned work
- Greet all visitors and substitute teachers courteously, determine their needs, check appointments, and direct or escort them to the proper person
- Answer all incoming telephone calls and respond appropriately to requests for information
- Use the intercom system to call students from classes at the request of the principal
- Maintain files and records, update principal's budget and account balances
- Process a variety of forms and maintain appropriate supplies
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, sorting, distributing mail, counting and depositing money, filing, and assisting with work overflow as requested
- Order inventories and distribute supplies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position
