Receptionist, Administrative​/Clerical

Position Overview

Part‑time Welcome Desk Receptionist at Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona.

Schedule:

Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30AM–8:00PM.

• Greet and screen patients, families, and visitors.
• Provide general information and direct them to appropriate resources, policies and services.
• Maintain an orderly waiting area and cooperate with volunteer services to enhance visitor experience.
• Coordinate visitor access, perform authorization procedures, serve as liaison between visitors and staff, and relay visitor concerns to staff.
• Answer phone calls, transfer calls, take messages, and relay messages and information as needed.
• Perform additional duties such as assembling charts, filing, sorting mail, maintaining supplies inventory, transporting patients, processing payments or other duties as requested.

• Good interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate attitude in stressful situations.
• Friendly customer‑service attitude.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Additional related education and/or experience.
