Job Title:
Administrative Coordinator (Faith-Based Nonprofit)
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to prayer and ministry. This position provides administrative, financial, and communication support while working closely with the Founder to advance the organization’s mission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, spiritually grounded, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with excellence and discretion.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide direct administrative support to the Founder, including calendar management, scheduling, and coordination of meetings and events
- Assist in executing operational priorities, projects, and ministry initiatives
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Supports logistics for prayer gatherings, events, and outreach efforts
- Communication Management
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications
- Manage email inboxes, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
- Draft, edit, and distribute communications such as newsletters, donor updates, and ministry announcements
- Assist with budgeting, expense reporting, and basic financial reporting
- Coordinate with external accountants or financial partners as needed
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with nonprofit financial practices
- Ministry & Donor Support
- Maintain donor database and assist with donation tracking and acknowledgments
- Support donor communications and engagement efforts
- Strong alignment with the organization’s statement of faith
- 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a nonprofit or ministry setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience supporting a founder, executive, or ministry leader
- Experience in nonprofit operations
- Spiritual maturity and alignment with a prayer-centered culture
- Reliability and follow-through
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Servant leadership mindset
- Part-time (20 hours per week)
