Summary:

As the Administrative Assistant for the Facilities Department, you play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by providing high-level clerical and communication support to the Director of Facilities and Facilities Managers. You are responsible for managing internal and external correspondence, scheduling meetings, relaying critical messages, and maintaining accurate records. Your professionalism, organizational skills, and friendly demeanor help foster a positive environment for team members, vendors, and guests, directly supporting the department's operational efficiency and service excellence.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture

Maintain organized and accurate departmental records, including personnel files, vendor documents, and facilities-related paperwork

Receive, open, time-stamp, and route incoming mail to the appropriate individuals in the Facilities Department Enter associate time and attendance data into Kronos, apply attendance points, and ensure associates are informed of updates or documentation requirements

Support the Director of Facilities and Facilities Managers by scheduling meetings, preparing paperwork, and managing communications both internally and externally

Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position

Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications3 years of administrative or facilities-related experience; experience in construction or engineering environments highly desired

Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment

Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a collaborative team Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment

Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams

Experience with CMMS Software, Hot Sos, or other facilities systems preferred

Experience with Workday preferred

Requirements

This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana

At least 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company

Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards None required

Physical Requirements Occasionally push/pull up to 25 lbs.

Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels

Occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist

Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer

Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone

Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person
