Position OverviewAs an Automotive Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. You will be responsible for understanding customer concerns, recommending maintenance and repair services, coordinating repairs, and ensuring every guest receives an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle needs
- Prepare repair orders and service recommendations
- Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle delivery
- Communicate repair updates and recommendations to customers
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Review completed repairs with customers and explain services performed
- Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer processes
- Consistently exceed CSI and customer experience expectations
- 2–5 years of Automotive Service Advisor experience required
- Dealership Service Advisor experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced dealership environment
