SR DIRECTOR FOOD AND NUTRITION - COLUMBIA, SC

Compass Healthcare – Morrison Healthcare, a national food and nutrition services company serving more than 600 hospitals and health systems, is seeking a Senior Director of Dining Services located in Columbia, SC. The role is full‑time and offers relocation assistance if the candidate is outside the area.

Compensation is $110,000–$135,000 base plus bonus potential. Salary range for the position is $80,000–$125,000 depending on experience.

The Senior Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day food service operations, delivering an exceptional dining experience, managing client relationships, and owning the financial and operational performance of the account.

• Lead daily food service operations while operating within the approved budget and maximizing value for the client.
• Ensure food quality is consistently high and exceeds expectations.
• Direct and enforce safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Develop, mentor, and grow talent across the team.
• Foster strong interdepartmental partnerships and integrate dining services into overall facility operations.
• Drive operational excellence, food cost control, and account profitability.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership experience.
• Two to four years of direct food service operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, presentation, and cost controls.
• P&L accountability and contract‑managed services experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification a plus.
