Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Risk Manager/Analyst
As part of our team, you’ll contribute directly to the development of solutions that make a real difference. As a Health and Safety Manager for the East region, your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage safety programs on all assigned projects and job sites.
- Provide regulatory and policy review and interpretation and technical advice.
- Recommend improvements in process, policies and procedures.
- Assists in establishing Safety Culture with Power Electronics employees in the assigned region.
- Continually review leading indicators from audit summaries, daily observations, and injury statistics to propose structured programs to continually lower risks associated with potential accidents and losses.
- Monitor workers' compensation issues with the HR Department.
- Responsible for safety program development, implementation, and oversight of assigned tasks.
- Interface with government agencies, including OSHA.
- Interact with Management, Regional Leads, Service personnel, and site supervision to ensure efficient administration of H&S issues.
- Health and Safety incident management.
- Implement safety inductions, review of electrical procedures, risk assessments of processes, workplaces, machines and equipment, ergonomic analyzes.
- Field and plant auditing & reporting.
- Responsible for selection of PPEs.
- AS or BS degree in safety & health or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Has excellent knowledge of OSHA and NFPA
70E. - Electrical knowledge.
- Fluency in Spanish is not required but will be well considered.
- Skilled at making verbal and written presentations and communication to others.
- Good interpersonal relations by working well with teams internally and externally.
- Good working knowledge and experience in Microsoft programs such as Excel PowerPoint, Word, etc.
