Role DescriptionMultiple positions are available for Field Technicians and Special Inspectors located in Phoenix, Safford, and Tucson, Arizona. The role involves conducting field and laboratory testing of construction materials, inspecting construction projects, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Both Field Technicians and Special Inspectors will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality and timely results.
Qualifications(depending on position)
- A Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in field and laboratory testing of construction materials and/or special inspection
- Minimum 1 year of work experience with soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and other construction materials.
- Ability to conduct construction inspections and prepare detailed reports
- Knowledge of project specifications, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams and clients
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on active construction sites
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record (no more than 2 minor violations and no major violations such as DUI)
- ATTI, ACI, ICC, CWI, or other relevant certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or a related field a plus
