JobOverview
The Graphic Designer collaborates closely with the Senior Creative and Design Team Lead, as well as Senior Graphic Designers, to develop and execute creative concepts for digital, advertising, and marketing deliverables. This is a fully on-site position based at our Corporate office in Tucson, AZ, or at one of our metro Phoenix locations.
Responsibilities- Receives guidance from VP of Marketing, Senior Creative and Design Team Lead and Senior Graphic Designer for creative, strategy and direction of advertising and marketing material.
- Creates and presents concepts and designs for creative team projects.
- Design creative content for print, digital, and social media.
- Assists in event design collateral to ensure the presence of the NOVA Brand.
- Reviews and proofs all graphic materials and adjust if needed and follow set procedures for jobs exiting the Creative Team.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to coordinate production orders, obtain cost and time estimates, and relay the gathered information to the assigned creative team member.
- Coordinate, track and oversee projects for ROI.
- Guides internal NOVA departments and external vendors on the guidelines and compliance with the NOVA brand.
- Takes part in ongoing professional education regarding current industry trends, new graphic design techniques, and digital designs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of experience in graphic and digital design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and complete time-sensitive projects.
- One to three years of experience within the mortgage industry preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and daily responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail in all areas of responsibility.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high level of grammar and spelling.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and poise.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
