We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Physician for a 60-day assignment in Arizona, commencing Feb 5, 2026. This role provides scheduling flexibility, allowing you to manage your daily patient list as needed. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, treating a diverse range of wounds including ulcers, diabetic, superficial, burns, and surgical cases, educating patients on wound care, and prescribing medication.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Complete charting within 48 hours.
- Maintain a friendly and patient-focused approach.
- Manage and attend to all scheduled patients daily.
- Educate patients on proper wound care techniques for self-management between follow-up visits.
- Prescribe necessary medications.
- Perform initial assessments for new patients.
- Treat various wound types, including ulcers, diabetic wounds, superficial wounds, burns, and surgical wounds.
- Utilize telehealth for patient follow-ups.
- Opportunity for training in debridement or skin grafting, if desired.
- Flexible scheduling with no set shift hours; complete daily patient list and log hours as appropriate.
