To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications for this job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education / Certificate- The teacher must have a valid Arizona teaching certificate for the position to which the individual is assigned.
- The teacher must be able to obtain either a Provisional SEI endorsement, a full ESL endorsement, or a full Bilingual endorsement.
- The teacher must be able to become highly qualified in the core content for the position to which the individual is assigned.
- Current and valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences.
- Bilingual communication is beneficial.
- Must be proficient with technology (i.e. email, Google Suites, grading software, instructional platforms, etc.).
- Must be able to tolerate a high‑paced working environment.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to be flexible with work hours.
