• Accountable to the principal for performance of assigned duties.
• Relate role to building and system‑wide programs and objectives.
• Coordinate work with members of their particular department.

• In‑class behavior:
  Evidence that pupils assigned to courses for which the instructor is responsible have achieved established objectives.
• Out‑of‑class behavior:
  Evidence that the instructor has developed behavior that results in effective cooperation with colleagues and laypersons.

• Graduate of a four‑year college.
• Function effectively as a member of an instructional team.
• Maintain strong commitment to the subject matter being taught.
• Work effectively with the community.
• Have ability to adapt to differences and changes in pupil characteristics.
