About the Gig

Think summer camp—but for gearheads. Legacy EV's Electric Vehicle Bootcamp brings together builders, educators, and technicians from across the country to learn how to safely and confidently work with EV technology. We're looking for an experienced automotive instructor who's comfortable leading hands-on workshops, teaching technical content, and bringing energy to the classroom.

If you know your way around both wrenches and watt-hours, this is your kind of week.

What You'll Do

• Teach Legacy EV's week-long EV Bootcamp (we provide the full curriculum)
• Lead participants through EV systems, safety, and conversions in a shop-style setting
• Deliver engaging, practical lessons that make complex topics feel approachable
• Work alongside a veteran Legacy EV instructor during your first session for support
• Complete one week of paid training prior to your first Bootcamp

What We Provide

What You Bring

• Automotive teaching or training experience (postsecondary, trade school, or OEM preferred)
• Solid understanding of EV systems, high-voltage safety, and conversions
• Ability to connect with students and make learning hands-on and fun
• A positive, professional attitude—no ego, just enthusiasm
