Job Summary

The BIM Coordinator role is a highly collaborative position focused on design side BIM coordination and model management. This role partners closely with engineering, field and modeling teams to help maintain healthy, organized, and coordinated model environments throughout the project life cycle. They manage a project's digital Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes from design through construction, ensuring models are accurate and company standards are being upheld.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) is being properly implemented, coordinating model development, conducting clash detection to resolve design conflicts, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, maintain company standards, templates, workflows and best practices. Ensuring the timely delivery of project information to clients and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BIM department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead coordination meetings with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, telecom, structural, architectural).
  • Performs QA/QC reviews, clash detection and manages issue logs to resolution.
  • Manages internal coordination and overall system constructability per single/one-line diagrams
  • Ensure models are updated and synchronized across the project team.
  • Support project managers with constructability reviews and field coordination.
  • Collaborate with fabrication and field teams to ensure model accuracy reflects installation.
  • Act as the primary liaison between BIM team and project site leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5–7 years’ experience in electrical BIM coordination.
  • Deep knowledge of construction sequencing and trade coordination.
  • Expertise in Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360/ACC, AutoCAD MEP.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Work Environment:

  • Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
  • Outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes.
  • Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
  • Travel requirements: up to 10% of time.

This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
